Looking after your filter: a two-minute guide

NERŌ is designed to be low-effort — that's the whole point. But a filter does need a little care to keep doing its job. Here's everything you need to know, and none of it takes more than a couple of minutes.

Swapping the cartridge

Each cartridge lasts about three months of typical household use. To replace it, unscrew the filter body, drop in a fresh cartridge, and screw it back on. No tools, no plumber, about thirty seconds.

How to know it's time

Two easy signals: the calendar (roughly every three months), and your own taste. If the taste of chlorine starts creeping back, the cartridge has done its work — swap it. Heavier use shortens its life a little; lighter use stretches it.

A few small habits

• Run the tap for a few seconds after the filter's been unused for a day or two.
• Wipe the steel body now and then — it keeps its finish for years.
