Will it fit my tap?

A couple of questions and we’ll tell you straight — it fits, it needs a quick check, or it’s not made for your tap.

Most filters are plastic. Not ours.

NERŌ Kitchen Filter screws straight onto your tap and stays there. A filter you won't want to hide — and won't have to replace.

Solid stainless steel

Won't crack, yellow, or wear out — one filter for years.

Less plastic in your kitchen

Steel that lasts, instead of plastic filters you throw away.

No refilling, no jug taking up the fridge.

Hundreds of bottles, or one filter.

$788a year, for two* $129whole household

Nearly 1,000 plastic bottles a year. Or one filter: $129 the first year, then $99 a year for cartridges.

How it works.

The NERŌ cartridge and the stainless steel filter body, shown apart
01

One cartridge does the work.

Inside the steel body sits a single cartridge — the part that actually filters your water.

02

Mesh and cotton catch the grit.

The outer layers trap sediment and particles carried in from old pipes.

03

Carbon takes the chlorine.

Activated carbon reduces chlorine and the metallic taste — so water tastes like water.

Maintenance Replace cartridge every three months.

One minute to install. Then forget about it.

No plumber, no tools. Unscrew your aerator, screw NERŌ Kitchen Filter in its place.

A lever on the side switches between filtered and straight tap water. Filtered for drinking, for coffee, for cooking and rinsing your veg; straight from the tap for the washing up.

Renting? It screws on and off in seconds. It's yours, not the landlord's — take it when you move.

Good questions.

Will it fit my kitchen tap?

Most standard Australian kitchen taps, yes — the NERŌ Kitchen Filter screws straight onto an M22 thread with nothing added. If yours is a different size, the kit in the box covers G1/2, F20 and F24 external threads, M22 and M24 internal, plus a universal adapter that clamps on when there's no thread at all. It won't fit pull-out or spray taps, or taps with a square or oval opening.

How do I install it?

Unscrew the aerator at the end of your tap, and screw NERŌ Kitchen Filter in its place. One minute, no tools, no plumber. A printed guide ships in the box.

What's inside the box?

NERŌ Kitchen Filter, your cartridges (2 with Starter, 4 with Year Supply), the adapter kit (G1/2, F20 and F24 external threads, M22 and M24 internal, plus a universal adapter for taps with no thread) with sealing washers and thread tape, and a printed installation guide. It ships in clean, unbranded steel — no logo engraving.

How long does each cartridge last?

About three months of typical household use. Starter ships with 2 cartridges (about 6 months), Year Supply with 4 (about 12 months). Heavier use shortens cartridge life proportionally.

Does it remove PFAS, lead, or fluoride?

It reduces chlorine, sediment, and the metallic taste that comes from old pipes — that's what activated carbon does. Lead, fluoride, and PFAS we don't claim: we only put our name on what we can prove.
